Due to the risk of cross infection to our patients and staff members we will no longer treat patients with active cold sores unless treatment is urgent.
If you are currently suffering with a cold sore and not in need of urgent care, we kindly ask that you re-arrange your appointment.
Cold sores are contagious from the moment you first feel tingling to when the lesion has completely healed. A healed cold sore is one that is no longer visible.
