For the safety of our patients and team, we kindly ask that you contact the practice if you have an active cold sore (herpes simplex virus) before attending your appointment.
Dental treatment can sometimes irritate or spread an active cold sore, delay healing, and increase the risk of transmission. In most cases, routine dental treatment will be postponed until the cold sore has fully healed. However, urgent or emergency treatment may still be provided following an assessment by our clinical team.
If you develop a cold sore before your appointment, please call us as soon as possible to discuss your options and rearrange your visit if necessary.
